Royal Ballet Alice in Wonderland - exciting!!
I've been asked to write some notes about Lewis Carroll for the programme of the Royal Ballet's upcoming "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon. I'm very honoured.
Here's a trailer for the ballet, shot in Christ Church.
The principal dancers include Marianela Nuņez, Sarah Lamb and Lauren Cuthbertson , Rupert Pennefather, Federico Bonelli, Sergei Polunin, Jonathan Howells, Edward Watson, Tamara Rojo and Zenaida Yanowsky. I'm told that it's almost sold out already but I do hope I manage to get along.
